Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work environment, allowing you to provide critical mental health support through our innovative telehealth platform. You will engage with clients via virtual consultations, ensuring that access to mental health resources is maintained, even during the ongoing challenges presented by distance and isolation. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly residents to identify their unique emotional and psychological needs.

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions aimed at addressing emotional challenges, such as grief and loss, anxiety around aging, and adapting to life transitions.

• Develop detailed, personalized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive support for geriatric clients.

• Provide education and guidance to families and staff on enhancing emotional well-being and quality of life for older adults.

• Implement cognitive stimulation programs to promote mental agility and support clients’ cognitive health.

Your primary focus will be the geriatric population, including seniors dealing with loss, mental health complexities associated with aging, and life transitions. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential must be held throughout employment.
