ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Operating Room Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Rotating shifts with a combination of 2 - 12 hour shifts and 2 - 8 hour shifts, including occasional weekends and holidays. 12 hour shifts from 6:30 AM - 7 PM or 9 AM - 9:30 PM, and 8 hour shifts from 6:30 AM - 3 PM, or starting as late as 2:30 PM. Travelers will be expected to take call as required, totaling 20-30 hours of standby call in a 4-week period. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in Orthopedic surgery to join our Operating Room team. As a Level I Trauma Center, our facility is dedicated to providing the highest quality care across a large volume of outpatient cases. The ideal candidate will have the ability to circulate independently and take call as needed. Responsibilities Circulate cases independently in the Operating Room. Monitor patient vital signs and provide post-operative care. Assist with various surgical procedures, primarily in Orthopedic and Neurosurgery. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Adhere to established safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current and valid Registered Nurse license. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required. Strong orthopedic experience is essential.
