Pay Rate/Range: $25-35/hr

Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk with a strong Accounts Payable background for a temporary assignment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced accounting environment and can jump in with minimal training.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
• Assist with year-end audit preparation and documentation
• Transfer and validate accounting data within the company's system
• Review invoices for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Reconcile vendor statements and respond to vendor inquiries
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation
• Assist with general accounting projects and administrative tasks as needed
• Support the accounting team with additional duties during the audit process

Qualifications:

• Previous Accounts Payable experience is required
• 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
• Experience assisting with audits is a plus
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data entry skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle confidential financial information

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00a.m - 5:00pm
