Desired Skills and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (Illinois) and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
• Previous experience in a school environment strongly preferred
• Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt therapy methods for diverse learning needs and age groups
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and IEP goals
• Provide both direct and consultative therapy services in individual and group settings
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor student growth
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to planning sessions
