Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and passionate Sales Account Manager to join Supermicro, a leading global provider of advanced server, storage, and networking solutions. You will manage customer accounts, drive sales through active prospecting, and develop strategic relationships with system integrators, VARs, and OEMs, ensuring exceptional customer service and successful order fulfillment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and handle the assigned accounts to make sure to achieve the quote
- Develop/supervise customer service relationships with assigned accounts and prospects
- Monitor inventory, negotiate prices, enter and monitor orders from start to delivery
- Facilitate credit issues and after-sales services
- Responsible for outbound cold calls and potential customers, e.g., system integrators, VARs, OEMs, End users
- Qualify opportunities and follow up; create target lists for vertical markets
- Develop relationships, communicate product and market information
- Consistently achieve leads and quota
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferably in high tech industry
- Minimum 5 years of direct sales experience selling server and storage to enterprise and fortune-1000 companies preferred
- Strong communication skills across multiple disciplines, cultures and geographies
- Track record of building relationships with senior executives and decision makers
- Demonstrated ability in the following areas: pre-call planning, opportunity qualification and objection handling, call structure and control, time and territory management
- Experience entering, tracking and reporting data on lead activity
- Consistent track record of meeting of exceeding sales target
- Must have Microsoft Excel Knowledge
- Multi-task and time management skills are a must
- Proficient in English and additional language is a huge plus
- Flexibility in work schedule (to work with US in the evening) is a must
- Must be a self-starter with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and eager to grow with the company
