As a Physical Therapist, you will work in Genesee and Southern Saginaw County, partnering with our multidisciplinary team to promote the Elara Caring philosophy, administer treatments, and advance patient recovery. Provide direct patient care: evaluate functional needs, set goals and consult with other specialists. Review patient needs and adjust care plans for optimal outcomes. Design and implement individualized plans that include significant others when appropriate. Practice therapy within established standards of care. Direct support staff to achieve patient goals. Document evaluations, treatment goals and plans; maintain prescriptions and required signatures. Provide leadership and resources for physical therapy in the community. Perform physically demanding tasks in a high‑stress environment, including handling, lifting, and transferring patients. Work irregular hours and call shifts as needed. Qualifications Graduate of an APTA‑approved physical therapy program. Current, unrestricted PT license in the state of work. Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare facility. Willingness and ability to travel within the branch/office coverage area; must own a dependable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance per state law. Capacity to lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including patient transfers. Flexibility to travel 50% of the time.
