OVERVIEW:

The Shipping Clerk will assist production, supervision, logistics and distribution by performing various administrative and clerical tasks.

All Live Comfortably Associates are expected to support Operations by working efficiently and maintaining a high level of productivity in order for the organization to meet and exceed customer demands.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs Oracle transactions
• Preparing/managing documents
• Printing and managing label process
• Various administrative tasks as assigned

All Live Comfortably associates play a crucial role in meeting our customer requirements and are expected after initial training to perform with minimal supervision. Associates may be asked to assist with other duties and work in other departments when needed to meet those requirements.

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Outstanding Interpersonal Skills required
• Experience with Oracle or similar system a plus.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft excel
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the Associate may be required to sit or stand for long periods, handle objects, stand and hear. The employee is occasionally required to bend, twist and kneel. Frequent use of hands to finger, grasp, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and maneuver around various equipment throughout the shift is necessary. The Associate is occasionally required to balance, stoop and bends regularly to move/lift material or equipment (typically 10 lbs.)

The ability to hear and see with vision abilities in close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Associates in this role spend the majority of day in a climate-controlled office environment with a low to moderate noise level.

When in the production / warehouse areas, the Associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate however there may be areas designated as Hearing Protection required and provided earplugs are mandatory in those areas.

There may be areas of the plant and warehouse areas where exposure to heat and/or cold can occur. The Associate may be exposed to dust and floating particles used in the manufacturing, storage and inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
