Accounts Receivable Accountant

Job Description Job Overview: As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the company’s accounts receivable processes. You will ensure timely and accurate invoicing, monitor outstanding accounts, and work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve payment issues. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be crucial to helping maintain accuracy of financial records. Duties: Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies Familiarity with governmental accounting principles and regulations Utilize double-entry bookkeeping methods to ensure accuracy of financial records Provide support for technical accounting issues as needed Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues Qualifications: Must be proficient with Microsoft platform (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.) Must have knowledge of QuickBooks Online Proven experience in accounting or a related field Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficient in data entry and 10-key typing skills Ability to type 40 WPM min is preferred Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to Read/Write/Speak English Bi-lingual is a plus.
