Paralegal

Paralegals are an essential part of our team and play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our clients. This position supports attorneys in business transactions, real estate matters, and litigation, requiring a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. This role requires someone who can work independently, anticipate needs, solve problems, and help keep matters moving forward efficiently. This paralegal position works closely with attorneys, clients, courts, title companies, business owners, opposing counsel, and other professionals, serving as a key contributor to the success of our legal team and our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist attorneys with business, real estate, and litigation matters from inception through completion Draft, review, and organize legal documents, correspondence, contracts, pleadings, and other matter-related documents Manage case files, ensuring both physical and electronic files are maintained accurately and efficiently Coordinate and manage deadlines, court dates, filing requirements, and transaction timelines Prepare and file court documents and pleadings in compliance with applicable rules and procedures Assist with business formation, corporate maintenance, and other business-related legal matters Support real estate transactions through document preparation and file management Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, title companies, referral sources, and other contacts Anticipate attorney and client needs and proactively support matter progression Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment at all times

Minimum of 1-2 years of paralegal experience , preferably in business law, real estate, or a related practice area Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and follow through on tasks with minimal supervision High level of emotional maturity, professionalism, and discretion Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office 365; experience with Clio or other legal practice management software is a plus Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment
