Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate each patient’s unique trauma history and establish tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and execute customized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, resilience enhancement, and overall mental health improvement.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate recovery.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.

• Closely collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients facing trauma-related emergencies.

• Offer education to patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to foster understanding and empowerment.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in full compliance with legal and ethical standards to uphold patient confidentiality.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities centered around trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will largely revolve around individuals who have faced significant trauma, impacting their mental health and daily functioning. We specifically serve clients experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As a mental health therapist, you will guide these individuals through their recovery journey, helping them reclaim their lives and navigate the path to healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating competence and reliability in the field.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and a solid foundation in trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Experience providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions that support patient recovery.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by an empathetic and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• The ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, ensuring patient safety and support in high-stress situations.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• The capacity to work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
