Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ histories and determine appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that are focused on recovery from trauma, ensuring resilience-building at every stage.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to help clients process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all clients.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance to clients in distress.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources for further assistance.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation per legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team discussions, and professional development workshops focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research and treatment methodologies in trauma therapy, ensuring the delivery of the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including clients suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will be instrumental in fostering a healing environment, guiding patients through their recovery and equipping them with tools to manage their mental health effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is required.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment approaches, and resilience-building techniques.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
