Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and families, ensuring a thorough understanding of their unique needs and backgrounds.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions, tailoring interventions based on diagnostic assessments and identified patient needs.
\n
• Accurately complete and maintain all documentation, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms within regulatory timelines to ensure compliance and care continuity.

• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety interventions, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to support clients in achieving and maintaining stability in their daily lives.

• Formulate and execute thoughtful discharge plans that reflect the patient's ongoing needs and goals for future care.

• Stay informed and compliant with all current federal and state regulations, as well as NEHS policies and procedures, to uphold professional integrity and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and educational programs aimed at maintaining licensure and enhancing therapeutic skills.

• Participate actively in case consultations and community agency meetings to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge sharing.

• Fulfill all licensure requirements and complete mandatory training as prescribed by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and as a mental health counselor, you will support them in addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, family dynamics, trauma recovery, and more. Your culturally competent approach will be crucial in providing tailored therapeutic interventions that resonate with each patient’s unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field, which is requisite for professional licensure.

• Current licensure as a mental health therapist (LCPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Nevada.

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome candidates from all backgrounds, experience in community mental health settings and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices are preferred. Compensation and Benefits\n
