Deliver focused speech therapy services aimed at enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, voice range, and swallowing capabilities. Engage collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to develop integrative care plans. Provide essential education to patients and families, empowering them to continue progress beyond the therapy sessions. Contribute to infrequent inpatient assessments and interventions, bridging the gap in care continuity throughout patients' recovery journey. Ensure thorough and timely documentation that adheres to state, federal, and institutional regulations. Remain engaged with ongoing professional development through continuing education and peer networks. Qualifications A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if ASHA certification is pending. Necessary Certifications Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the initial 30 days of hiring.
