Remain engaged with ongoing professional development through continuing education and peer networks. Qualifications A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if ASHA certification is pending. Necessary Certifications Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the initial 30 days of hiring.
