Job Responsibilities
- Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and craft individualized therapy strategies to help them achieve their specific functional objectives.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methodologies to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Engage closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive care.
- Guide Patients and Families: Teach therapy techniques to patients and caregivers, ensuring continued progress at home.
- Track and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment as needed, keeping patients aligned with their goals.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and nurtured.
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
