Job Responsibilities

• Craft Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and devise tailored therapy protocols aimed at helping them reach their functional objectives
• Deliver Therapeutic Services: Implement evidence-based techniques to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work side by side with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapy methods to facilitate continued progress at home
• Monitor and Evaluate Progress: Keep track of clinical outcomes and modify treatment strategies as necessary to ensure patients stay on the right track

Education Requirements

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications Needed

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
