Job Responsibilities

• Design Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patients' needs and create individualized therapeutic strategies to support their journey toward functional independence
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Employ research-backed methods to bolster patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and everyday living tasks
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, well-rounded care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on therapy techniques to promote sustained progress at home
• Track and Evaluate Patient Progress: Document clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on the right path

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
• Continuing education or additional post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
