Education Requirements A degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution. Encouragement for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications. Certifications Required Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license. NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
