Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Shipping/Receiving ClerkGnostech, LLC is seeking an experienced Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support the Navy and Marine Corps (NAVWAR/NIWC Pacific) Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC) In-Service Engineering (ISEA) Programs. The selected candidate will perform both clerical and physical shipping/receiving duties in accordance with established procedures and under supervisory guidance when needed.Location: San Diego, CAHybrid or remote work is not authorizedCompensation: $21.63-$24.04 per hourPosition Responsibilities:Verify, package, label, and document outgoing shipmentsReceive and inspect incoming shipments; check against shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, invoices)Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records (e.g., manifests)Ensure proper storage and routing of received materialsPrepare shipments for delivery to installation sitesAssist with Defense Reutilization Management Office (DRMO) coordinationSupport upkeep and servicing of Government vehiclesConduct inventory of warehouse project materialsOperate a forklift and pallet jack safelyMaintain warehouse cleanliness and organizationDeliver mail to personnelMinimum Security Clearance: Current active Secret ClearanceRequired Qualifications and Skills:1 year of prior experience in warehouse/logistics operationsFamiliarity with government shipping procedures and documentationForklift CertificationDesired Skills:Ability to lift and carry up to 35 poundsEducation and Training Required:High School Diploma/GEDMinimum Years of Experience: 1 year of experience in warehouse/logistics operationsGnostech Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
