Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Qualifications (Required) Valid Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician. Experience working with students that have behaviors due to their disabilities as outlined in their IEP. Ability to relate/communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators. RBTs must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates below for more info. Qualifications (Preferred) Experience working in the Malden Public Schools. Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to plan with the BCBA to create appropriate plans during ESY. Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records. Keep folders/portfolios with student work. Perform other related activities as required by the program coordinator. Duration Program Administration and Implementation: 103 hours total, including: Professional In‑service Days (Date TBD, 3 hours). 20 days, Monday‑Thursday, from July 6 – August 6 (7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.). Stipend $25 per hour; total $2,575 (20 days/5 hrs + 1 in‑service at 3 hrs) Funding Source Special Education Application Process Apply formally on School Spring.
