Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The clinician will prepare the operating room, sterilize instruments, and provide direct support to the surgical team to promote patient safety and efficient case flow in a hospital in Denville, NJ.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• Current BLS certification.
• Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist authorized to work in New Jersey.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified OR/ Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment.
• Demonstrated experience with orthopedics (total joints, fracture cases), spine procedures, DaVinci XI robotics, urology, vascular, general/laparoscopic procedures, podiatry, breast and plastic reconstructive surgeries.
• Ability to participate in on-call weekend coverage on a rotational basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a hospital operating room setting supporting a broad surgical case mix.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00 to 15:30.
• Workdays: Monday through Friday.
• On-call weekend coverage required on a rotational basis.
