Overview:The Brand Director, Global Marketing Rare is responsible for defining and driving the global brand strategy for OXLUMO and GIVLAARI, ensuring alignment from global vision through local execution. This role leads cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful, insight-driven strategies and tactics that maximize patient impact, stakeholder engagement and commercial performance.Key Responsibilities:Global Brand StrategyLead development of OXLUMO and GIVLAARI global brand plansEnsure strong connection between global strategy and local execution, leading cross-country/functional workshopLeverage market research, competitive intelligence, and data analytics to inform plans and regularly assess the business performanceContinuously evolve messaging and strategy based on new insightsAnnual Planning & Stakeholder EngagementTranslate strategy into global tactical plans and prioritiesOwns overall tactical planning process for Rare Business in partnership with medical affairs, key functions and the countriesDevelop annual global budget and highlight trade-offs and prioritiesDevelop a global stakeholders engagement plan, in partnership with Medical Affairs, Advocacy and the countries, legal and compliance, including the development of the Leadership engagement planLead Global Conference plans in partnership with medical affairs, countries and communicationsCross-Functional LeadershipPartner closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Digital, Data and Insights teams to enable successful implementation of key global initiativesOrchestrate key global initiatives acting as the central point of integration across functions (medical, regulatory, legal, compliance, others)Contribute to global capability development and best practice sharingOwn Brand Board and Program initiativesQualifications:> 10 years of experience in global and U.S. pharmaceutical/biotech marketingMBA in Marketing preferredStrong strategic thinking with proven execution capabilitiesExperience leading cross-functional global teamsDeep understanding of rare disease markets is a must haveStrong communication and stakeholder influence skillsStrong project Management skillsSuccess ProfileStrategic and forward-lookingHighly collaborative and matrix-orientedData-driven and insight-ledStrong ownership and accountability mindsetLocal and International travels ~40% of the timeAbout AlnylamWe are the leader in RNAi therapeutics – a revolutionary approach with the potential to transform the lives of people with rare and common diseases. Base pay will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
