Compassionate Health Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. In this fully remote role, you will have the flexibility to work from home while still being actively engaged with a supportive team. Our clinic utilizes secure teletherapy platforms to facilitate virtual appointments, making it easier for clients who may face transportation challenges or prefer the comfort of their homes. Regular virtual team meetings and supervision sessions provide an opportunity for professional engagement and camaraderie.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to understand their unique mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices to promote personal growth and mental wellness.
• Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals and monitor their progress, ensuring a client-centered approach to care.
• Implement teletherapy strategies for virtual sessions, maintaining high engagement and connection with clients regardless of their location.
• Uphold standardized documentation practices to ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in continuous professional development to refine your clinical skills and stay informed about emerging trends in mental health.

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Current LMFT licensure issued by the state of California.
• A minimum of two years of full-time counseling experience in a clinical setting.
• Experience working with couples, families, children, and teens; specific expertise with marginalized populations is highly valued.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.
• Previous engagement in community-based mental health initiatives.
• Experience in providing telehealth services.
