Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from anywhere with a stable internet connection. Our outpatient office setting means that you will primarily engage with clients through a secure telehealth platform, ensuring that you can provide quality care in a flexible manner. You will be equipped with a cloud-based Electronic Health Records (EHR) system that enhances communication, compliance, and documentation processes. Our setup aims to minimize administrative burdens so you can focus on what you do best—providing exceptional counseling services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group counseling sessions tailored to client needs, enabling them to explore their thoughts and feelings in a safe environment.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client, while maintaining a strong emphasis on their safety and confidentiality.
• Utilize a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform to conduct all counseling sessions, ensuring privacy and security in communications.
• Manage treatment programs aimed at addressing a variety of mental health issues, trauma, and dual diagnosis conditions, guiding clients towards improved coping strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure integrated care for clients, contributing to holistic patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in our EHR system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and insurance requirements.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health care and enhance your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse range of clients, including individuals dealing with emotional distress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Our clientele often seeks supportive counseling services to explore personal issues, navigate life transitions, or manage psychiatric disorders. Your role will be integral in fostering a therapeutic environment that encourages healing, growth, and empowerment.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Applicants must possess an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• At least three years of direct experience in mental health counseling is required, demonstrating your proficiency in therapeutic techniques and client engagement.
• Solid technical skills, including familiarity with remote counseling tools and a reliable computer setup for telehealth sessions.
• A strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently while managing a flexible schedule, which may include weekends and evenings.
• Completion of a background check is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a range of mental health conditions and familiarity with the latest therapeutic modalities.
• Proven track record of successful client relationships and a results-driven approach.

Compensation and Benefits
