Work Environment

This role allows you to work remotely, offering flexibility in your schedule while providing essential services to schools in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify the emotional, behavioral, and social needs of students.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that include measurable goals and interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy, to support clients in overcoming their challenges.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with state regulations and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including educators, psychologists, and other healthcare providers, to coordinate care and ensure the best outcomes for students.
• Stay informed on the latest developments in mental health practices and interventions to continually enhance your skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position will focus primarily on working with school-aged children and adolescents dealing with issues related to trauma, anxiety, depression, and other emotional disturbances. You will play a crucial role in guiding students through their personal challenges, advocating for their needs within the school system, and providing a safe space for emotional exploration and healing.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Hold an active LCSW license in the state of New Jersey.
• Demonstrated strength in communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment while being self-driven and proactive.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in a school setting or with young populations is highly desirable. Familiarity with trauma-informed care and an understanding of educational systems will be advantageous in supporting student success.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually , commensurate with experience.
