Work Environment

This role is designed to be entirely remote, offering flexibility and work-life balance while contributing to a supportive and collaborative team culture. You will be connecting with clients primarily through virtual counseling sessions, supplemented by occasional in-person meetings when necessary. Our outpatient office in Austin serves as a resource hub, ensuring that our counselors have access to the latest therapeutic tools and a supportive community of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs effectively.
• Designing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the individual goals of clients, enabling constructive progress in their mental health journeys.
• Providing individual, couples, and group counseling sessions, utilizing proven therapeutic interventions that promote healing and growth.
• Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to ensure well-rounded and holistic client care.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in accordance with all legal and ethical guidelines to uphold the highest standards of professional practice.
• Participating in regular clinical supervision, case discussions, and continued professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counselors serve a diverse client base, addressing a variety of mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, and mood disorders. You will play a critical role in not only managing these conditions but also empowering clients to cultivate resilience and coping strategies. The combination of individual and group therapy approaches fosters a community of support that clients can rely upon during their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least 2 years of experience providing individual and group therapy in a mental health setting.
• Strong proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, demonstrating application and adaptability to various mental health treatment scenarios.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to create genuine rapport and trust with clients from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances.
• Highly developed verbal and written communication abilities, necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• A deep commitment to ethical principles and maintaining the confidentiality of client information.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome all qualified applicants, preference will be given to candidates who have experience using telehealth platforms for remote counseling, as well as those who have familiarity with current mental health trends and therapies. Experience in substance abuse counseling or trauma-informed care would greatly enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
