Job Description\n RCM HealthCare Travel is seeking a local contract School Speech Language Pathologist for a local contract job in Lennox, California.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist\n Discipline: Therapy\n Start Date: ASAP\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 8 hours\n Employment Type: Local Contract\n \n \n RCM Healthcare Services is looking for a part time Physical Therapist to work in and around Lennox, CA school districts.\n In-Person 3-day/weekposition isavailable for the 26–27 Regular School Year!Qualifications\n \n \n Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program\n \n Valid California Physical Therapy License\n \n Experience working in pediatric, school-based, or community settings preferred\n \n Ability to work with school-aged children with a variety of physical and developmental needs\n \n Ability to work independently and collaboratively with school teams\n Primary Purpose\n Serve as the Physical Therapist responsible for assessing students’ physical development and mobility needs and implementing therapy programs designed to improve functional mobility, strength, coordination, and participation in the educational environment.Major Duties and Responsibilities\n • Conduct formal and informal evaluations and re-evaluations in accordance with federal, state, and district timelines and regulations. Compile assessment data from a variety of sources into written reports to assist in determining eligibility and educational needs.\n • Participate as a member of the IEP/ARD team and contribute to the development of individualized education programs. Ensure documentation and meetings occur within legal timelines.\n • Interpret evaluation results to develop research-based, appropriate physical therapy programs to support student access to the educational environment.\n • Develop measurable IEP goals and objectives related to physical development and functional mobility.\n • Plan, prepare, and provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions according to the student’s schedule of services.\n • Provide services in inclusive and natural school environments when appropriate, collaborating with general education and special education staff.\n • Maintain accurate data and documentation for each therapy session for students on assigned caseload.\n • Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding strategies, adaptive equipment, and positioning to support student participation in school activities.\n • Recommend, monitor, and assist with adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and mobility supports as needed.\n • Participate in student staffing meetings and provide professional input regarding student needs and progress.\n • Maintain accurate and detailed records of evaluations, IEP meetings, therapy sessions, and related activities.\n • Complete progress reports according to district schedules using objective data and documentation.\n • Monitor student files to ensure all required documentation is completed in a timely manner.\n • Follow billing and reimbursement procedures for Medicaid and other documentation requirements where applicable.\n • Attend district meetings, professional development sessions, and required trainings.\n • Utilize technology to organize schedules, documentation, communication, and written reports.\n • Maintain and enhance professional knowledge through continuing education and professional development.Compensation\n Positions begin at $55/hour based on experienceHow to Apply\n If you are passionate about supporting students and making a difference, we’d love to hear from you!
