Your Mission

Own how PlusAI connects with retail investors. Physical AI and trucks that drive themselves are some of the best stories in AI right now, and you get to tell that story to the people investing their own money. Your job is to earn their attention and keep it. Social media, podcasts, blogs, video, live events, whatever works. Grab eyeballs, build a following, and turn that following into an informed community that understands the business. There is no playbook here and nothing to maintain. You are starting this function from scratch and deciding how it runs. You will report directly to the CFO.

Responsibilities

• Own the Retail Strategy
• Create and lead PlusAI's retail investor relations strategy, defining how the function operates and setting the standard for how it should be done.
• Build engagement that scales with a large, diverse base of individual investors, with a serious everyday presence on X and other real-time channels.
• Find new ways to put PlusAI in front of retail audiences around launches, partnerships, and company milestones.
• Create Content That Earns Attention
• Produce short-form video, podcasts, blog posts, graphics, and written content that people actually stop for.
• Take dense material, the technology, the business model, the financials, and turn it into stories a normal person wants to watch and share.
• Help shape investor days and shareholder events so they land with retail investors, not just Wall Street.
• Repurpose presentations, webcasts, and executive interviews into content built for the feed.
• Track Sentiment and Report It Straight
• Live in the feeds, forums, and comment sections. Know what retail investors are saying about PlusAI before anyone asks.
• Build the metrics and dashboards that turn engagement and sentiment into something leadership can act on.
• Give the CFO a regular, honest read on retail perception, where the risks are, and where the opportunities are.
• Know the Shareholder Base
• Build analytics and reporting on our full shareholder universe that teams across the company can use.
• Go Beyond the Job Description
• Pitch in on strategic projects across finance and communications. The best version of this job will stretch well past this posting.
• Work with Legal so everything investor-facing stays inside SEC disclosure rules, including Regulation FD.

We're Looking for Someone Who Has Built Something

We care less about credentials and more about what you have made and the results behind it. Maybe you grew a large following breaking down markets on X. Maybe you run a finance newsletter people forward to their friends, a podcast or YouTube channel that makes complicated things click, or an investing community that genuinely shows up. Maybe you did standout IR or content work inside another company and moved real numbers. Built on your own or built for an employer, it counts the same here. Show us the work. Evidence of creativity, audience growth, and engagement will beat a polished resume every time. And if you are reading this thinking you could do the job but are not sure you tick every box, apply anyway. Good people talk themselves out of good roles all the time. This position is open across experience levels and we will meet the right person where they are.

Required Skills

• A track record of building an audience, community, or body of work that got results.
• Strong investor relations experience in prior tech or finance roles.
• Outstanding writing and storytelling, with the ability to make technical, business, and financial concepts clear and genuinely interesting.
• A native feel for X, Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and wherever retail investors gather next, plus a real-time sense of how market sentiment forms and moves.
• A creative, bold communicator, comfortable taking calculated risks and willing to break from the traditional IR approach.
• Presence and credibility with investors of all kinds, retail and institutional, including the non-traditional participants who increasingly move markets.
• Experience producing quality video, audio, and multimedia content, or a clear ability to get it made.
• An analytical streak. You measure what you publish and make it better.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in AI, enterprise software, mobility, or technology.
• A finance background, MBA, or CFA. Helpful, genuinely not required

Salary

$150,000 - $200,000 a year Base salary range: $150,000 to $200,000 per year, with flexibility up to $250,000 for an exceptionally qualified candidate. Your level and salary will depend on your experience and what you bring. Base salary is one part of the package. You will also be eligible for equity, a performance bonus, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
