Job Description and Duties Under the general supervision of the Accounting Administrator II, the Accounting Officer (Specialist) will utilize technical expertise and analytical skills to perform complex accounting functions within the Accounting Branch, Fiscal Operations Section, Accounts Receivable Unit at CalRecycle. Responsibilities include preparing and tracking monthly accounts receivable reports, conducting complex reconciliations, analyzing accounts receivables for completeness and accuracy, and ensuring billings are processed according to the State Administrative Manual (SAM) and other applicable regulations. Beginning July 1, 2026, employees will be required to report to the office at least four days per week, with potential hybrid telework based on eligibility. All employees may be required to report to the designated headquarters at their own expense as needed.
