About the Role:
The Goddard Schools located in Greenville and Simpsonville  is looking for a passionate and experienced Preschool Director to lead our team of dedicated early childhood educators. Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily school operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment
• Recruit, hire, train, and mentor teaching staff and support personnel
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations, NAEYC standards, and Goddard School franchise guidelines
• Build and maintain strong relationships with families through open communication and engagement
• Manage school budget, enrollment, and administrative functions
• Develop and implement curriculum programs aligned with play-based, child-centered learning philosophies
• Conduct staff evaluations, professional development planning, and performance management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an early childhood leadership or director role
• Knowledge of South Carolina childcare licensing regulations and compliance standards
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• Experience with enrollment management, budgeting, and school administration
• Passion for play-based learning and early childhood development best practices
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
