Upper Extremities Sales Associate - Jacksonville, FL

Title: Upper Extremities Sales Associate Location: Jacksonville, FL (occasional travel to Orlando/South Florida) What you will do Partner closely with Sales Representative(s) in the area to learn the medical device industry and Upper Extremities business, and contribute to growth of that business in the assigned territory. Cover cases, market and promote products, build sets, manage inventory, and convert customers to Stryker as skills develop. Attend surgeries where Stryker Upper Extremities products are used, ensuring all products are available for surgeon use and instructing surgeons on product use and functionality. Educate doctors, nurses, and staff on proper use, maintenance, functionality, updates, product portfolio changes, and educational programs. Work with sales teams to contact customers, identify sales opportunities, deliver excellent customer service, and further develop customer relationships. Identify needs of new prospects with the assigned Sales Representative and develop responses. After product training, tailor Stryker’s promotional message, advise on product selection, answer customer questions, and distinguish Stryker products from competitors. Perform field calls for the account(s) and assigned territory. Assist in implementing new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively. Partner with the Sales Representative and organization to meet and exceed business targets (quotas). Serve as the primary backup contact for Sales Representative(s). Acquire a basic understanding of regulatory compliance and adhere to guidelines. Assist in resolving any problems or questions that arise in accounts. Partner on inventory management and building proper inventory levels to meet customer needs. Assist and partner in acquiring and processing Customer Purchase Orders (POs) for proper invoicing. Maintain training in sales skills and product knowledge. Market the product line to customers, leveraging knowledge of functionality, features, and differentiators. Remain current on industry, customer, and competitive trends. Participate in sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours. Consistently adhere to compliance and the principles of responsibility (AdvaMed) by maintaining privacy and confidentiality, protecting assets, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements, and company policies and procedures. What you need Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s Degree or Medical Certification (e.g., CST, PT, CPT, etc.) plus at least 2 years of professional and/or related experience. High School Diploma plus at least 4 years of professional and/or related experience. 4+ years of active duty military service.
