As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring values through teamwork and integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.63 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for unusual conditions, restricted-area access concerns, and potential hazards, then report observations through established site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as directed. Document patrols, incidents, and security-related activities accurately in required logs and reports. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
