Receptionist

Receptionist F&P Group is a multi-concept restaurant and media organization based in the Rio Grande Valley. As our Receptionist, you are the first impression and the heartbeat of our McAllen office. This role is all about hospitality, energy, and organization. You'll own the front desk experiencewelcoming every guest with a smile, keeping our daily office operations running smoothly, and supporting our fast-moving team. The Front Desk & Guest Experience: Greet and welcome clients, team members, and visitors in a warm, professional, and friendly manner. Own the phone lines by answering, screening, and directing incoming calls with a smile. Office Environment & Vibe: Maintain a clean, organized, visually appealing, and welcoming reception area. Keep shared spaces inviting, handle the kitchen setup (including preparing coffee for meetings), and make sure the team is always stocked with snacks! Logistics & Administrative Support: Manage all incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and daily deliveries. Provide essential cross-departmental support including filing, scanning, data entry, meeting room scheduling, and general office inventory management. Team Support & Errands: Run occasional company errands using your reliable transportation (picking up meals, team groceries, or urgent office supplies). Pitch in on special projects, team lunches, and employee celebrations to help foster a fun, positive, and engaging workplace culture. Warm & Welcoming Communicator: You genuinely enjoy connecting with people and making them feel valued from the moment they call or walk through the door. Organized & Reliable: You can manage multiple tasksfrom answering phones to organizing mailwithout losing track of the details. Great Entry-Level Opportunity: Kickstart your career with a competitive starting pay of $14/hr and consistent full-time hours (M-F 8:00 AM 5:00 PM). Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. 1- 2 years previous administrative, receptionist, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred. Basic financial savvy: Experience tracking expenses or keeping a small project on-budget (using Excel or Google Sheets) is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a naturally positive attitude. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with great attention to detail. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for running office errands. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting, working on a computer, standing, walking, moving, etc. Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds at a time.
