Gain exposure to private equity and alternative investments.Job DescriptionOverviewLead fund accounting and financial reporting for private investment funds, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and industry standards.Collaborate with auditors, tax providers, and administrators to streamline reporting processes and ensure accuracy.Analyze investment activity, valuations, and performance metrics to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.Support investor reporting by addressing LP requests and maintaining operational transparency.Drive process improvements and automation to enhance operational efficiency and internal controls.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ad hoc projects and new fund launches.Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring regulatory compliance and accuracy.Contribute to strategic initiatives to optimize fund accounting processes and systems.Key Responsibilities & DutiesManage capital calls, distributions, management fees, and waterfall calculations with precision and timeliness.Coordinate with external parties to ensure seamless fund operations and accurate reporting.Prepare detailed financial statements in adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Enhance internal controls and streamline accounting processes for improved efficiency and compliance.Analyze fund performance metrics to provide valuable insights to stakeholders.Lead automation initiatives to optimize workflows and reduce manual tasks.Collaborate on new fund launches, ensuring accurate setup and reporting processes.Participate in special projects to enhance fund accounting and reporting capabilities.Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.4–8+ years of experience in fund accounting or private equity environments preferred.Strong understanding of partnership accounting and private fund structures.Proficiency in systems such as Allvue, Investran, Geneva, or similar platforms.CPA certification or progress toward CPA is highly desirable.Advanced Excel skills and ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments.Experience with capital activity, allocations, and financial reporting for investment funds.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reporting.
