Project Specialist

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Project Specialist
Job Type: Contract,Fulltime (W2)
Duration: 3+ Months
Location: New York, NY
 
As a Project Specialist, you will:

• Support projects related to wealth management business functions under general supervision.
• Represent the department on assigned projects and initiatives.
• Assist with project research, documentation, testing, and requirements gathering.
• Support process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve business processes.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and project management tools.
• Maintain project documentation, communications, status updates, and other project records.
• Provide administrative and coordination support to assigned project management teams.
• Assist in understanding and documenting business impacts associated with projects and initiatives.
• Support the creation of Business Case documents to communicate, evaluate, and prioritize initiatives.
• Collect, research, and analyze project-related data to support business and project decisions.
• Communicate project changes, progress, issues, and dependencies to appropriate stakeholders.
• Participate in training related to project management methodologies and continuously develop project management skills.

 
The ideal candidate will have:

• Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures related to wealth management.
• Basic understanding of project management methodologies, including project management, analysis, administration, and documentation.
• Experience creating and maintaining project documentation and communications.
• Experience supporting project management, business analysis, process improvement, or project administration is preferred.
• Experience in wealth management or financial services is a plus.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $60 hr - $70hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
