For more information, visit The Regional Account Manager (RAM), Outdoor Living Products (OL) reports to the District Sales Manager and works with a regional team of sellers. The OL RAM owns downstream contractor demand for decking products within an assigned segment. The role defends business, gains customer wallet share, drives material conversion and grows market share while expanding premium product adoption. The role regularly executes district plans and partners with Channel Manager and field teams to convert demand into sustained territory growth. What You’ll Do: Identify opportunities to expand product adoption, increase share of wallet, and introduce new solutions that align with customer needs. Defend business by maintaining strong, long‑term relationships with key customer accounts through consistent engagement and value‑added support. Serve as the key partner for assigned customers (dealers/distributors) and market stakeholders (builders, architects, contractors), ensuring partnership, satisfaction, and loyalty. Develop structured account plans and execute growth targets for each key account. Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to assess goals, performance, challenges, and future needs. Translate customer feedback into internal recommendations for product, pricing, service, or process improvements. Maintain account profiles, activity logs, and pipeline opportunities in CRM tools. Use data to forecast account performance, identify trends, and prioritize actions. Drive demand for Exteriors products. Engage market stakeholders to generate downstream demand for Exteriors products across assigned customers; enable cross‑selling to support Channel Managers. Build long‑term relationships through ongoing account engagement and tailored product solutions, while driving material conversion and supporting other regional growth priorities. Execute against defined sub‑specializations (single family repair/remodel, single family new construction, or multi‑family new construction) by partnering to provide product value that aligns with regional growth objectives. Tailor engagement and messaging to segment‑specific needs. Develop and execute district plans that translate regional priorities into weekly and daily activity. Manage pipeline, targeting, and follow‑up to ensure consistent execution against demand‑generation goals and adjust approach based on performance and market. What You’ll Bring: Sales Expertise: Willingness and ability to cultivate relationships, grow networks, and nurture leads. Passion to identify targets. Ability to negotiate and collaborate with business leaders. Strong understanding of sales processes, sales funnel management, and sales practices. Knowledge of market segmentation and go‑to‑market strategies. Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management systems. Business Consultation: Strong business and financial acumen, preferably in the construction industry. Understanding builder, dealer, and installer financials and market dynamics to advise partners for mutual growth. Flexibility to attend key activities within assigned territory while being accountable to a priority‑based schedule with prospective customers. Communication and Influence: Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and advocate for the company effectively. Build relationships at all levels. Present in front of large groups and convey messages compellingly. Familiar with key communication tools. Building Product Knowledge: Familiar with basic construction practices and residential construction process. Learn the product line, including features, applications, installation considerations, and value drivers across residential and commercial projects. University degree or equivalent experience required. Three or more years of progressive sales experience with high organization and discipline, preferably within the building products industry. One or more years of experience working with a Customer Relationship Management system (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.). Ability to travel outside of the local market up to 20% of the time. Valid driver’s license is required; employment is contingent upon maintaining a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record that meets company driving eligibility standards. What You’ll Receive: As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $71,300 to $95,000. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and internal equity and may change over time.
