Description

• Assess patients in either inpatient or outpatient settings and develop tailored treatment plans
• Apply physical therapy treatments concentrating on mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Collaborate efficiently with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to enhance patient outcomes
• Inform patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and exercise regimens
• Record evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and conferences to provide coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional certifications (neurological, geriatric, etc.) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Solid previous experience is highly preferred
