Desktop Support Engineer
Synchro
Synchro are working exclusively with a customer who are hiring for an experienced Desktop Support Analyst to join a Houston-based project, supporting a Windows 11 migration alongside BAU desktop support and user onboarding. This role will be based in Houston and will require you to be onsite full time. This is an initial 3 month contract which has the potential to extend. Day to day duties include building and provisioning Windows 11 laptops using Microsoft Intune, as well as supporting desktop and end-user issues & onboarding new users. You'll also support desk moves and wider workplace technology requirements as well as provide troubleshooting across AD, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, Exchange, VDI, networking, security and video conferencing. Required skills & experience Strong Microsoft Intune experience, particularly device provisioning and application deployment Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira Good understanding of ITIL Experience with the any of the following is desirable, although not essential; Azure / Entra ID, PowerShell, SCCM, Microsoft Defender, Endpoint Manager, Azure Virtual Desktop, Jira & Confluence.
