Position: Shipping and Receiving Associate Location: Owasso, OK Job Id: 389 # of Openings: 1 JOB TITLE: Shipping & Receiving Associate FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt REPORTS TO: Operations Manager LOCATION: Owasso, OK
JOB SUMMARY
The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for packaging and processing finished small, specialized rubber product for shipment to customers. Responsibilities also include processing required department paperwork and shipping documents and handling of incoming raw materials.SHIPPING & RECEIVING ASSOCIATE RESPONSIBILITIES
Count samples of product, weigh, and calculate total number of parts Prepare products for shipping according to Da/Pro and customer specifications, including packaging for transportation, weighing and measuring packages Ensure shipping documents are complete, accurate and processed appropriately at time of shipment Enter information into computer as needed Receive raw material, log, and deliver material via hand truck to nearby building/department Perform other duties as assigned.SHIPPING & RECEIVING REQUIREMENTS:
Occasionally: sit, push/pull up to 50 lbs., reach above shoulder with both hands, lift/carry 10-50 lbs. Frequently: stand, walk, reach outward with both hands, count and calculate, lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
