When you join SA, you play a part in giving every student who walks through our doors a fair shot at reaching his or her potential.About the RoleSuccess Academy Charter Schools is seeking an experienced AI Product Manager to drive the adoption and deployment of artificial intelligence tools across our organization as we build toward becoming the first AI-native K–12 enterprise in the country. In this high-impact, cross-functional role, you will own the end-to-end integration of AI solutions and network-wide capability building across academic, operational, and administrative functions. You will collaborate closely with department leaders, technical teams (IT, data, legal/compliance), and external vendors to transform every workflow into an AI-first process. By serving as the primary champion for AI literacy and project execution, this role plays a pivotal part in elevating staff capabilities, accelerating productivity, and driving the broader enterprise technology vision.Key ResponsibilitiesLead AI Training & Enablement: Design and deliver hands-on training programs, practical guides, and playbooks that equip non-technical teams across SA with the skills to leverage AI tools effectively.Drive AI Project Deployment: Own end-to-end project management for AI integrations—from initial scoping and vendor evaluation to implementation, testing, and rollout across academic and operational functions.Build an AI Culture & Community: Cultivate a network of AI champions across departments to foster continuous learning, experimentation, and enterprise-wide adoption of emerging tools.Manage Vendor & Technical Partnerships: Oversee relationships with AI tool providers and coordinate with internal IT, data, legal, and compliance teams to ensure secure, responsible, and compliant deployments.Track & Measure Business Impact: Define key success metrics for each initiative, measure outcomes, and regularly communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership.Qualifications5+ years of experience in project management, technology implementation, AI engineering, or a related field, including 1–2 years of direct people management experience.Demonstrated fluency with modern AI tools and platforms, including hands-on professional experience with OpenAI products and Claude (Anthropic).Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end, with familiarity in agentic AI frameworks, AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Lovable, Replit), or AI governance/privacy principles preferred.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, and practical experience.CompetenciesStrategic AI Leadership: Translates cutting-edge AI developments into practical, actionable opportunities aligned with SA’s mission and operational goals.Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence: Builds strong partnerships across technical, legal, and non-technical teams to align priorities and gain buy-in for AI adoption.Communication & Facilitation: Simplifies complex, technical concepts for diverse audiences to build confidence and capability across the organization.Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments by navigating evolving priorities with agility and creative solutions.Compensation, Benefits & PerksAt Success Academy, we invest boldly in our Network team with a comprehensive package designed to support your health, financial future, and overall well-being:Day-One Health & Wellness: Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting your first day (SA covers 82% of our core medical plan), plus a free One Medical membership and confidential mental health support via EAP/Talkspace.Financial Security: 403(b) retirement plan with a 3% employer match, up to $2,400/year in employer HSA contributions, employer-paid life/disability insurance, and Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility.Time to Recharge: Generous paid time off, paid holidays, and paid parental leave.Perks & Stipends: A $50/month cellphone stipend ($600/year), pre-tax commuter benefits, backup family care, and performance-based earning incentives.This is a hybrid position based in our NYC Financial District office, requiring on-site work Tuesday through Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday.Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.Compensation Range$225,000—$250,000 USDSuccess Academy Charter Schools is an equal opportunity employer and actively encourages applications from people of all backgrounds.
