Gurney Assistant

We are a non-emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) company that has been proudly serving many counties in Northern California for over 40 years.

We are looking for a full time/part-time Gurney Assistant to assist with transporting clients to and from medical appointments and other engagements. Many of our clients are disabled and may need to be transported by wheelchair or gurney.

If you don't like being in an office all day, have experience related to our field, are compassionate and friendly and enjoy meeting and helping people, we would like to hear from you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with transporting patients to various locations in our medical transport vehicles in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
Wheelchair and Gurney lift operation
Communicate with Dispatch.
Follow safety and COVID protocols
Instruct clients on safe riding rules and regulations

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid California Driver's License. Good driving record.
Ability to pass alcohol & drug test
Ability to pass background check
Ability to pass First Aid & CPR training course
Must have a positive attitude, good communication skills and be empathetic and
polite.
Experience as a driver or in transportation is a plus but not mandatory
