Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work setting while maintaining a regular schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients to identify specific psychological care needs.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions that address emotional challenges related to aging, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and adjustment disorders.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to the unique needs of geriatric residents.

• Educate clients, families, and clinic staff about effective strategies for improving emotional health and coping skills.

• Offer grief and loss counseling for clients and families dealing with end-of-life concerns, supporting them through difficult transitions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be focusing on a diverse population of elderly clients, many of whom may experience complicated emotional responses related to aging, chronic illness, and bereavement. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.

Compensation and Benefits\n
