Job responsibilities Oversee the organization’s day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective internal controls. Supervise and support the Accountant while ensuring the timely completion of accounting activities, reconciliations, month‑end closings, and financial reporting. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, financial analyses, and management reports, providing insights to support operational and commercial decision‑making. Monitor financial performance, revenue, costs, cash flow, profitability, and key hospitality KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost optimisation. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies while maintaining the integrity of financial records. Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, payroll providers, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities, coordinating audits and external reporting requirements. Support procurement, inventory control, asset management, capital expenditure projects, and strategic business initiatives from a financial perspective. Promote financial discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization while acting as a key business partner to department leaders and supporting the Finance Director. Job requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting Management within hotels, resorts, or luxury hospitality environments. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management, and internal controls. Experience working with external auditors, tax advisors, payroll providers, and financial consultants. Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and hospitality financial reporting. Experience with hospitality financial systems, ERP platforms, and accounting software. Strong understanding of tax regulations, audit processes, and compliance requirements. Fluent Greek and English. Additional languages are considered an advantage. Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving skills. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities. High attention to detail with exceptional accuracy and professionalism. Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
