About the Opportunity

We are partnering with an established and growing company in the commercial building products and solutions industry looking to add a driven Business Development Manager to its sales team.

We're looking for a true hunter! Someone who enjoys opening doors, developing relationships, identifying new opportunities, and turning those conversations into long-term business.

This is a fully remote opportunity, open to candidates anywhere in the United States.

What You'll Be Doing

• Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the commercial construction and building products markets.
• Build relationships with general contractors, architects, developers, facility managers, and other key decision-makers.
• Drive new account acquisition and expand the company's presence in targeted markets.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and relationship development through closing.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Consistently meet or exceed established KPIs, sales activity goals, and revenue targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support customer needs and ensure a smooth transition of new accounts.
• Attend customer meetings, industry events, and site visits as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Proven business development or outside sales experience within commercial building products, specialty equipment, or construction-related solutions .
• Experience selling to general contractors, architects, developers, facility managers, or similar commercial decision-makers.
• Background in industries such as architectural products, building systems, elevators, escalators, automatic doors, specialty construction products, or related equipment is a plus.
• Demonstrated success generating new business, developing accounts, and consistently achieving sales targets.
• Strong prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Comfortable working in a KPI-driven sales environment focused on activity, pipeline development, and results.
• Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable managing a nationwide territory remotely.
• Experience using CRM systems to track sales activity and manage opportunities.
