• End Date: 09/18/2026 (with potential ongoing coverage until 2027)
• Shift: Mon-Fri 8a-5p, with in-house OR and floor call; weekends on-call support
• Hours/Week: Full-time; approximately 40 hours/week

• Licenses/Certifications: Ohio State Physician Assistant License, BLS/ACLS
• Experience: Prior cardiothoracic or vascular surgery experience preferred

What You'll Do:

• Provide post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients
• Assist in emergent and scheduled surgeries, including vein harvesting and tissue retrieval
• Take consults and referrals from ED, Cath Lab, and hospital providers
• Perform emergency procedures under high-pressure situations
• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR
• Interpret tests and order diagnostic procedures
• Coordinate patient care plans and communicate effectively with the care team

What You Need:

• Valid Ohio Physician Assistant license and current certification
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in cardiothoracic or vascular surgery
• Ability to handle emergency procedures and work in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
