A licensed Tennessee pharmacist is needed to serve as the remote Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) overseeing Board of Pharmacy licensing and compliance for an out-of-state mail order pharmacy program serving Montana patients. This consulting role offers a unique opportunity to apply your regulatory expertise with a minimal onsite commitment.

Location: Remote (must reside in Tennessee); quarterly onsite visits in Brentwood, TN
Position Type: Contract, minimum 13 weeks, with potential for long-term engagement
Schedule: Primarily remote with approximately 4 hours annually for onsite inspections

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the designated PIC for the Montana Board of Pharmacy mail order license using your Tennessee license
• Complete and maintain necessary PIC forms and documentation for licensing and renewals
• Conduct quarterly onsite inspections at the Brentwood facility, including physical site audits verifying oxygen tank storage, posted hours, and pharmacy licenses
• Review portable oxygen tank patient accounts for annual prescription renewals
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, highlighting items requiring follow-up
• Collaborate with leadership on compliance and regulatory matters as needed

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted Tennessee Pharmacist license
• Residence within Tennessee required
• 3-5 years of pharmacist experience preferred, but less may be considered
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license for travel to onsite inspections
• Strong organizational skills and regulatory knowledge in pharmacy operations
