Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed pharmacist in Tennessee is needed to serve as the Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) providing remote regulatory and licensing support for Mail Order pharmacy operations serving Montana patients. This consulting role involves ensuring compliance with Board of Pharmacy requirements and performing quarterly onsite inspections at a medical equipment facility in Brentwood, TN.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as designated Tennessee-licensed PIC supporting the Montana Board of Pharmacy Out of State Mail Order license.
Complete initial and renewal Pharmacist In Charge documentation and licensing forms.
Conduct quarterly physical compliance inspections at the Brentwood, TN site, including verification of oxygen tank storage, licenses, and posted hours.
Review patient accounts for portable oxygen tanks to confirm annual prescription renewals.
Complete inspection checklists and report any compliance issues needing follow-up.
Assist senior leadership with compliance and inspection matters as requested.
Qualifications:
Current, unrestricted Tennessee pharmacist license.
Reside in Tennessee with a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
3–5 years pharmacy experience preferred, but fewer years considered.
Strong attention to detail and knowledge of pharmacy regulations.
Ability to conduct onsite inspections in Brentwood, TN quarterly.
Work Details:
Remote work with minimal onsite presence required (approximately 4 hours annually).
Contract position, expected 13+ weeks with potential for long-term extension.
Immediate start desired, but no later than end of October.
Flexible scheduling, allowing concurrent full-time employment if desired.
