Entry Level Recruiter Job Description:
PrideStaff is working with a retail merchandising and retail execution business, in search of an enthusiastic, entry level recruiter. In this role, you will play a vital part in sourcing, screening, and managing applicants for an entry-level retail position. The ideal candidate does not need prior recruiting experience; we are fully prepared to train someone who has strong interpersonal skills and a deep interest in learning the recruiting field. Candidates with a background in customer service roles tend to excel in this position, though it is not a strict requirement. This is a full-time, temp to hire, fully on-site position in Brooklyn Park, MN.

Entry Level Recruiter Job Responsibilities:

• Source potential candidates through various online channels and job boards
• Screen incoming applicants who apply to ensure basic qualifications are met
• Send two standard, structured emails to applicants to assess alignment with the role
• Conduct professional 30-minute video chat interviews with prospective candidates
• Evaluate candidates post-interview and make collaborative hiring decisions
• Log and track candidate information accurately within a spreadsheet for all extended offers
• Monitor the onboarding pipeline to ensure all new hire paperwork is completed and returned
• Maintain a highly organized, professional desk workspace while managing a high volume of computer work

Entry Level Recruiter Job Requirements & Working Conditions:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• No prior recruiting experience required; a strong desire to learn the industry is essential
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Previous experience in customer service or public-facing roles is highly preferred
• Comfortability using computers, navigating spreadsheets, and managing standard email correspondence
• Ability to comfortably work in an office setting, sitting at a desk and working on a computer for the duration of the shift
• Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail
• Consistent and punctual attendance is required
