Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans, providing consultation as needed for pre-crisis and crisis intervention.

• Timely documentation is a priority—complete all required records in accordance with regulatory standards to ensure compliance and high levels of care.
\n
• Employ evidence-based screening tools as recommended by the clinical team to tailor services effectively for our clients.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans that meet the diverse needs of our patients.
\n
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring all health and safety standards are met while serving our community.
\n
• Act as a liaison to service systems, state agencies, and community partners, facilitating communication and resources for our clients.
\n
• Pursue ongoing professional development through courses, conferences, and community activities, further enhancing your skillset and impact.

• Promote and integrate the mission, values, and philosophy of WeCare in all interactions and programming.

• Complete additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support clinic operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population seeking support in various areas, including emotional distress, substance use challenges, and developmental disabilities. By focusing on individualized treatment approaches, you will contribute to clients' journeys towards recovery and resilience, encouraging them to engage positively with their communities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is mandatory for applicants.
\n
• Applicants must possess an independent LMHC license issued by the state board.
\n
• Strong organizational skills are required, along with the ability to maintain accurate clinical records and prepare comprehensive reports.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members are essential.
\n
• Demonstrated capacity to work harmoniously in an interdisciplinary team setting while exercising professional judgment and making independent decisions.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in telehealth practices, familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, and knowledge of the local mental health landscape in Islip, New York, will be advantageous. Additional certifications or training in crisis intervention or specialized therapies are highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 86,000 and USD 103,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a base salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
