WE LOVE OUR WORK.What River City Casino & Hotel has to offer:Day 1 medical, dental, & vision benefits!Uber benefit for nearby metro stops.Recognition programs with cash rewards, gift cards, & more.Tuition Reimbursement, Lindenwood University Discounts, & Diversity Scholarship for Team Member's children.As a Mixologist, you will:Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.Develop and recommend specialty cocktails and beverage offerings.Provide outstanding guest service and beverage recommendations.Maintain comprehensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, mixers, ingredients, and beverage trends.Verify guest age and comply with all alcohol service laws and regulations.Monitor guest alcohol consumption and exercise responsible beverage service practices.Process guest orders accurately using the POS system.Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all bar areas.Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stocking.Follow all company policies related to safety, sanitation, cash handling, and workplace conduct.Other duties as assignedMonitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelinesPromotes casino events and programsResolves service problems according to guidelinesSlices and pits fruit as requiredOperates and maintains all equipment and utensils as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety proceduresBRING US YOUR BEST.High school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum one year of bartending experience preferred.Valid alcohol service certification or ability to obtain certification as required.Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation techniques, spirits, wine, and beer.Excellent communication and guest service skills.Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.Must be 21 years of ageCount money and change correctlyRead, write legibly, understand and speak EnglishSTARTING SALARY$12 per hour plus tips
