Job Description Process bi-weekly payroll in a multi-state environment Perform payroll adjustments and tax corrections Maintain and update tax tables in Workday Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers Provide customer service to internal employees (employees are the 'customer') Coach and guide managers through: Payroll terminology Workday navigation Payroll FAQs Execute cyclical reporting related to payroll Support special payroll-related projects as needed Perform routine, repetitive tasks within a small team environment We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Skills and Requirements Payroll Certifications Minimum: FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) Strongly Preferred: CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) Multi-State Payroll Expertise Experience processing payroll across all 50 states Strong understanding of tax compliance and regulations Familiarity navigating state/local tax nuances Payroll Systems Experience Hands‑on experience with Workday payroll Updating tax tables Processing tax adjustments Payroll Compliance & Tax Knowledge Deep experience in payroll compliance Ability to research tax issues independently Uses tools like: Bloomberg Tax Local/state tax guides Experience with TopLoc (or similar tax/configuration vendors) Exposure to payroll system clean‑up or remediation projects Background supporting post‑implementation payroll stabilization Bachelor's degree (if no CPP) in Accounting/Finance #J-18808-Ljbffr
